The Journal of Water and Sustainable Development has established in 2014 in the form of Biannual by the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad with the financial support of Mashhad Water & Wastewater Company. This Journal has been published as a Quarterly since December 2019.

This journal is an output of joint scientific activities between the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and the Hydraulic Association of Iran.

The Quarterly Journal of Water and Sustainable Development is published by the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. The JWSD considers and publishes original peer-reviewed research monolingual articles (Persian) from the results of experimental research, theoretical analysis, and modeling (numerical and experimental) in all
