کژباوری و کژفهمی در مدیریت آب کشاورزی: زمان برای بازبینی، تأمل و تجدیدنظر فرا رسیده است! (مقاله ترجمه شده)

چکیده
تصور غلط (Misconception) یا «کژباوری» اساساً یک باور یا ایده نادرست است که دقیق یا درست نیست. کژباوری ممکن است ناشی از کمبود/ نبود اطلاعات و یا تفسیر نادرست اطلاعات باشد. کژباوری ممکن است منجر به تصمیمات یا اقدامات نادرست شود. در حالی که سوءتفاهم (Misunderstanding) یا «کژفهمی» به عدم درک یا تفسیر صحیح معنای مورد نظر از یک موقعیت اشاره دارد. کژفهمی ممکن است ناشی از تعبیر اشتباه یا موانع زبانی باشد. با این حال بین این دو مفهوم، تا حدودی همپوشانی وجود دارد و در برخی موارد هر دو ممکن است هم معنا شوند. بخش‌های زیر برخی از کژفهمی‌ها و کژباوری‌ها را که در حال حاضر در مدیریت آب کشاورزی اعمال می‌شود، تبیین می‌کند. در طول دهه‌های گذشته و همچنین در سال‌های اخیر، برخی مفاهیم توسعه یافته‌اند که برای بهبود مدیریت آبیاری و صرفه‌جویی در مصرف آب کشاورزی در نظر گرفته شده بودند؛ مانند: راندمان مصرف آب (WUE)، بهره‌وری آب (WP)، حسابداری آب، کم‌آبیاری، مدیریت پایا، آبشویی شوری و موارد دیگر. با این حال، کاربرد این مفاهیم دچار کژفهمی شده و مفاهیم گاهی اوقات بدون توجه به معنای فیزیکی واقعی و محدودیت کاربرد آنها بکار رفته‌اند، زیرا: 1- برخی از این مفاهیم با دانش ناکافی از هیدرولوژی توسعه یافته‌اند؛ 2- مقیاس کاربرد و محدودیت‌های برخی از مفاهیم به وضوح بیان نشده است؛ و 3- نحوه بدست آوردن دقیق و درست پارامترهای موجود در برخی از این مفاهیم توصیف نشده است. در بخش‌های بعدی، تعدادی از این مفاهیم، کژفهمی‌های رایج و کاربردهای نادرست این مفاهیم توسط متخصصان، ارائه خواهد شد. همچنین، شواهد و شیوه‌هایی برای استفاده صحیح و دقیق از مفاهیم با توجه به معنای فیزیکی واقعی، مقیاس کاربرد، و نیز میزان عدم‌قطعیت در کاربردهای آنها ارائه خواهد شد.
